I have been living at the Highlands for only a month now, and my experience has been very positive. The location is unbeatable—a peaceful, leafy neighborhood, incredibly close to the Metro’s Red Line that brings you to downtown DC directly. Upscale shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are here within walking distance. A welcoming atmosphere with green spaces, friendly staff, prompt and sharp maintenance, and a high-end digital portal for anything you need. All amenities are kept in order – from laundry rooms to the rooftop pool and public space. My wife is very praiseful about their fitness center (I haven’t tried it yet), and I love a cozy resident lounge with fresh press and sporadic promo events from service providers. The best thing about location is that we are across the street from the community center with a nice park and weekly open-air concerts. I’d recommend this complex to anyone looking for a convenience, community feel, safety, and high quality of life.
